What is Wellness Coaching?

The biggest determinant of your health is your lifestyle. Most people know what they need to do to improve their lifestyle, however, they often need help.
Some people face health challenges that require a lifestyle change, some want to live the healthiest and most active and fulfilling life possible. Wellness coaches are the allies that can help you reach your goals. The coaching alliance is there to support your navigation through what seems like an ocean of options and a quest for often-elusive motivation.
MY APPROACH
You and I work as a team. We are partners in this process. Our working relationship is based on respect, patience, and support.
You make the decisions on where you want to go, I steer you through that process with expertise and without judgment. I’m in your corner. We work together until you reach your goals, or until you want to stop. You can work with me for one session, one month, 3 months, or longer. My work with you is guided by my belief that the ability to change lies within you. It’s my role to bring that ability to the surface!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Here’s how it works. You and I enter into a one-to-one working relationship. Together, we set the health or life-style goals that are priorities to you. We break down your goals into small, manageable steps rather than just focusing on the end. We meet weekly, primarily by telephone. Together, you and I identify and remove barriers that have prevented you from attaining or sticking with your health goals in the past. Focusing on your strengths (yes, we all have them), we develop practical and empowering strategies to get you to where you want to be.
My practice as a Health and Wellness Coach is results-oriented. It is my role to help you develop solutions and strategies so that you can make your desired changes. I stick by you until you achieve the goals you have set or until you reach the vision of health and wellness to which you have aspired.
